Wire cutting is a process that uses a brass wire and electric current to profile cut work-pieces with extreme accuracy. Since wire cutting is a non contact process, hard to machine materials such as tungsten carbide and titanium, cut easily and without hassle. The process is extremely accurate, with tolerances measured in microns, and can produce very fine detail including taper cutting. Blanking tools, extrusion dies, jigs and fixture components can all be made using this process. Our machinery is capable of cutting not only straight profiled cuts, but tapered cuts and cuts with different top and bottom shapes as well.
